Case Study: Ditto Music

Profit-first Marketing

Digital marketing strategy for Ditto Music boosting subscriptions by 664%.

When Ditto Music came to DeltaShore, they were running a complex web of marketing campaigns across multiple ad accounts, platforms, and countries. Despite having substantial ad spend, the results weren’t as scalable or consistent as they could be. Tracking was unclear, performance insights were limited, and budget was being diluted across too many campaigns.

Our Solution: Fix the Foundations, Then Scale

We began by rebuilding their marketing from the ground up, starting with the most essential component: tracking. We implemented a unified tracking system across Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft Ads, ensuring that every platform focused on one core metric: paid subscriptions. Enhanced Conversions were activated wherever possible to improve data accuracy and visibility into real user actions.

This gave us a solid foundation and a reliable feedback loop for every campaign. No more vanity metrics. No more guesswork.

The Power of Consolidation

With tracking in place, we tackled the structure. Hundreds of campaigns across several ad accounts were consolidated into a tighter, more strategic setup. By reducing fragmentation, we were able to:

  • Simplify campaign management
  • Increase data volume in fewer campaigns, giving algorithms more to work with
  • Centralise budget for better optimisation

This allowed us to run larger campaigns with clearer objectives, giving the algorithms a chance to truly learn and optimise around the subscription purchase event. The impact was immediate.

Key Performance Results:

  • -43.4% reduction in cost per acquisition (CPA) on Google
  • +635.2% increase in total revenue from paid subscriptions
  • +70% improvement in ROAS on Google
  • TikTok saw a +164.6% increase in sign-ups and -52.1% drop in cost per sign-up
  • Facebook Ads recorded a +238% increase in subscriptions

Expanding to Global Markets

We didn’t just stop at improving structure and tracking. We identified an opportunity to expand Ditto’s reach into new territories by launching multilingual campaigns. Until now, all ads have been running in English.

We introduced campaigns in French, Spanish and German.

These campaigns allowed us to tap into entirely new markets, increasing reach and relevance across the Western European audience. The performance from these regions was exceptionally strong, with multiple international campaigns seeing ROAS of 7.63% – 12.56%.

Consistent Optimisation = Ongoing Results

The work didn’t stop once the structure was improved. We rolled out a consistent test-and-learn strategy across all platforms:

  • A/B testing creative formats
  • Refreshing ad copy regularly
  • Adapting to changing platform trends

This kept results consistent and allowed us to keep scaling based on what worked.

The Outcome: Scalable, Data-Led Growth

By fixing the fundamentals and focusing on the right KPIs, Ditto’s paid media now runs like a well-oiled machine. The team has full visibility over what’s working, budget is being used far more efficiently, and subscriptions are climbing steadily across all platforms.

This case study proves that sometimes it’s not about spending more — it’s about spending smarter.
